Went to the bank to do the wire on Tuesday, and before I could make it back home, Golden State Mint had already sent me an email saying that the wire was confirmed,Ĭalled back in just to double check that everything went smoothly and the customer service representative actually remembered me from the day before (that's a first!), Placed a new order for the same products and this time chose to do a wire (which is what I prefer to do from a strictly cost basis),
Screened a call 3 hours later from a phone number that came up as 0, and I instinctively ignored it carrying on with my afternoon,Ĭhecked my email later that evening, and had a message from their customer service that they needed to cancel my order because it looked fraudulent and were not able to validate the order with me,Ĭalled in on Monday morning to understand what had happened, and had a very nice conversation with customer service (probably the best I have had in a long time with any company), Please consider this my formal endorsement.Ĭreated a new account and placed an order on Sunday paying with a credit card (would have done wire, but would not have been able to make it to the bank in the 36 hour window because of the US holiday), I am happy to say that I will absolutely continue doing business with them based on their superb customer service throughout the ordering process. It seemed like no one really had any idea if they were legit or not, and I am completely comfortable experimenting with new companies. Decided to test out Golden State Mint last week for the betterment of our community.
